Dear Chris,
This is bad news for us old Tak Yanites, but it is probably a relief for him and his family.

Dear Chris,
It is very sad to hear the passing of our beloved teacher, Mr. Kwan Hok Chee. He had cared for his students and made every effort to prepare them for the General Certificate Exam. He had been my role model ever since I enrolled in Tak Yan School. I was in Hong Kong not long ago and heard from Mr. Principal Wong Heung Wing of the grave conditions of Mr. Kwan Hok Chee was in and the suffer he had to go through. It is a blessing now he is rest in peace. And I hope he passed away peacefully. I would like to take this opportunity to send my deepest condolenses to his family.
Best regards,

Dear Chris, John, Michael and Friends,
We are saddened by the news of Mr. Kwan Hok Chee's death. But we know that there is no more suffering and pain that could bother him any more. As Christians, we acknowledge that he is now resting in peace in the bosom of our Lord God. We offer our sincere condolences to all his family members and friends.
Let us pray. Loving Father, we are saddened by the news of our beloved friend and teacher Mr. Kwan's death. We know that death is not the end, but an opening of another stage. We give You thanks and praise that Jesus Christ has conquered death on the Cross so that we can have eternal life in Him. Now we ask that You will receive Mr. Kwan's soul. Lord, we give You thanks for Mr. Kwan life on earth, for his contributions in education and in the welfare of his community, for his upbringing of his children and in his family. Lord, we give You thanks that no more pain nor labour on earth can bother Mr. Kwan any more. Merciful Father, have mercy on us and all those who mourn, grant them comfort and peace in the knowledge that Mr. Kwan is now in Your gracious and safe keeping. We ask Your blessings on all members of his family and friends. Father God, we give You thanks that the old Tak Yan friends as a community can unite together through email communication and prayer to encourage and support each other. We also ask Your blessings on every one of them and their family. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer; for we ask it in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
I sincerely hope that I will be able to meet some of you one day (in different parts of the world!). Meanwhile, may the Lord be with you and bless you in whatever you do.
Yours sincerely,
Ernest Yu
